The Brief

To create a new visual identity for Gasmech, this was to include printed collateral and a new website.

Our Response

Steve at Gasmech had had the same one page website since the company had started in 2005 and he felt it was time for the company to be rebranded. Firstly we sat with the team at Gasmech to discuss what they wanted from the new visual identity and also what their new website was for.

Steve explained to us that their new website would be used as a gallery for potential clients to see that they were up to date with all health and safety regulations and also that Gasmech had a web presence. We started researching different gas and electrical engineering companies to see where Gasmech wanted to be placed in the industry.

Do they offer an affordable service to homeowners or are Gasmech a larger company who mostly rely on commercial work? We discovered that Gasmech were a medium sized business that mostly relies on commercial work from contractors up and down the country. We were then able to start sketching out logo ideas and selecting colour schemes, which we thought suitable for their new identity.

Once we had designed numerous logo ideas and colour schemes we presented them to the team to choose which they thought was most fitting. We then transferred the new logo and colours to print collateral. The new identity was then also printed on their new uniforms. Justin spent numerous days on site with the team creating a portfolio of photography which we were then able to utilize by adding selected images to the new website. Gashmech now have a new identity and website which they are happy to shout about!
