Video For AI Search Partnership With Lester Film Co
Earlier this month we launched Video for AI Search, a new service line built in partnership with Lester Film Co. This is a brand new service combining our SEO expertise with Lester Film Co.’s production capability, and it has been a long time coming.
If you have been watching the search landscape this year, you already know why we built it. If you haven’t, here is where things have moved.
The Search Landscape Has Shifted
We’ve partnered with our friends at Lester Film Co. to launch a brand new service: Video for AI Search. The way people search has changed, and your video content is now part of how AI answers questions.
The Way People Search Has Changed
The way people search has changed, and SEO needs to evolve with it. Traditional SEO still works. What’s shifted is that AI-powered search is now an additional layer sitting on top.
AI search is multimodal. It doesn’t only read the text on a page. It also reads the metadata attached to your video, provided the video is set up for it.
Under the hood, AI search works in two ways. It draws on the data already baked into the model as embeddings, and it uses a process called RAG. RAG turns a long prompt into smaller search queries and compiles the live answers into one response. Your video content can feed both routes if it’s positioned correctly.

Brand Drift, and Why You Should Care
AI-powered search tools are, for now, prediction engines. They can put two and two together in ways that feel logical but end up at seven.
Imagine your industry has two common services: A and B. You offer A. Your competitors offer both. An AI search engine sees the wider landscape and assumes you also offer B, because that’s what the rest of the market does. Especially likely if you don’t have much content for the model to read.
That’s Brand Drift. It happens with services and it happens with brand messaging. Video content is one of the strongest signals you can give an AI to keep you positioned where you actually are.
How To Position Your Video For AI Search
Two parts to this. Structure first, positioning second.
Structure your content around the search data. Find the questions your customers are actually asking, and write answers short enough for an AI to lift and cite. Front-load the bit they came for.
Then the positioning. AI Search reads the metadata attached to your video, so every video needs captions and a transcript. Match the title and description to the search intent, and mirror the video on YouTube so the crawlers can find it in more than one place.
That’s what the new service handles end to end. We bring the SEO. Lester Film bring the camera.
What About the SEO You’ve Always Done?
If your current SEO is working, keep going. We’re not asking anyone to throw the existing playbook out. AI search is the next layer, and putting video into what you’re already doing is how you stay visible as that layer grows.

Well-positioned video is one of the most powerful ways to feed AI search models the rich, contextual information they need to surface your brand. Pair that with smart SEO strategy, and you’ve got content that’s genuinely useful, properly thought through, and built to perform.
