Can you guarantee AI citation?
No. Nobody can. What we can do is measure it. We re-query AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot quarterly with your target prompts and report on the citation pattern, alongside GSC and YouTube data. Any agency promising guaranteed AI citation is selling something we’d be wary of.

Which AI search tools do you optimise for?
Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. The signals overlap heavily, so the work isn’t four separate jobs. Where the tools diverge, Copilot leans on Bing’s content licensing and Perplexity runs its own crawler, we adjust the distribution accordingly.

Does video actually help with AI search?
Yes, more than most marketing teams realise. AI Overviews and Perplexity both cite YouTube heavily, partly because Google owns YouTube and partly because video metadata is structured in a way the crawlers can read cleanly. A video with an accurate transcript and a search-intent-led title is one of the most citation-friendly assets you can publish. The pixels themselves don’t matter to the model, but everything attached to the video does.

By re-querying the AI tools directly. There’s no GSC equivalent for AI Overview citations yet, so we run your target prompts through Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot on a fixed cadence and log when your brand shows up and which competitors are being cited instead. We pair that with GSC and YouTube analytics so you can see traffic shifts on the queries the videos support.

How do I rank in AI Overviews?
Rank isn’t quite the right word for AI Overviews. They aren’t a ranked list, they’re a generated answer with a small set of cited sources at the bottom. The goal is to be in that cited set. To get there, your content needs to answer specific questions in language an AI can lift, and it needs to sit on platforms the model is already pulling from. Video accelerates that, because it carries well-structured metadata across YouTube and your own site at the same time.
